Wǒ men méi yǒu.   我们有手表。 他没有。 他有一个时钟。 我们没有。 Tā xǐ huān shǒu biǎo, tā bù xǐ huān de shíz hōng. Wǒ men yě bù xǐ huān shí zhōng. 他喜欢手表， 他不喜欢的时钟。 我们也不喜欢时钟。 Tā yāo qiú wǒ men gěi tā yī zhī shǒu biǎo. Wǒ men huì gěi tā ma? Bù, wǒ men bù huì. 他要求我们给他一支手表。 我们会给他吗？ 不，我们不会。   Tā xiǎng gěi wǒ men qián. Wǒ men bù yào qián,  wǒ men yǒu qián. 他想给我们钱。 我们不要钱，; 我们有钱。 Tā xiǎng yào gěi wǒ men de shíz hōng. Wǒ men bù yào shí zhōng. Wǒ men bù xǐ huān de shí zhōng.   他想要给我们的时钟。 我们不要时钟。 我们不喜欢的时钟。 Shí zhōng bù hǎo. Shí zhōng tài guìle, tā men yě bù hǎo kàn. 时钟不好。 时钟太贵了， 他们也不好看。     Shǒu biǎo bǐ jiào hǎo. Wǒ men dōu xǐ huān shǒu biǎo. Shǒu biǎo shì tǐng hǎo kàn de, yě bù guì. 手表比较好。 我们都喜欢手表。 手表是挺好看的， 也不贵。			We have watches. He doesn’t. He has a clock. We don’t.               He likes watches, he doesn’t like clocks. We don’t like clocks either.           He asks us to give him a watch. Will we give him one? No we won’t.           He wants to give us money. We don’t want money; we have money.         He wants to give us the clock. We don’t want the clock. We don’t like clocks.             Clocks are no good. Clocks are too expensive, and they are not good looking either.               Watches are better. We all like watches. Watches are good-looking, and not so expensive either.

   (2) yě也                                       :too, either.
